The best of plants, herbs and vegetables... Transmitted to your skin! Discover Avril beauté body macerate
What is a body macerate? A macerate is an oil obtained by infusing a plant, herb or other vegetable in a vegetable oil (at Avril, for example, we infuse our herbs and plants in cold-pressed sunflower oil). This allows us to extract the plant's active ingredients in a gentle way.
All Avril macerates have been certified organic by an independent organization, Ecocert Greenlife. This means that our products, our body macerates, contain a majority of plant ingredients, or ingredients of plant origin, and that they are organic (or *grown organically, to be more precise).
How do I use a body macerate? Oily macerate is applied, ideally in the evening, to the whole body (legs, upper body, arms) as a body care product... Like a cream that you massage into your skin.
Note: you can use the macerate in the same way for the body, hair or face. It all depends on the oil itself and your needs. Your use. Be careful, however, to avoid contact with the eyes. Since it's a natural product, it should be kept away from light and strong temperature variations.
At Avril, we offer a macerate of St. John's wort, calendula and carrot. All these body macerates are available in 100 ml bottles at mini prices. Discover also our body oils and other natural skin care.
